Celine and Rene were at Celine’s rehearsal. Celine was onstage and she was doing little of her vocal exercises. She was waiting for one girl who was won ticket to her rehearsal and concert.
Celine was singing ‘The first time ever I saw your face’, when Rene came with the girl. Rene and girl sat down and they watched Celine’s perform till the end. When Celine ended the song she came to them. “Hello, what’s your name?” Celine smiled. “I’m Lily”, she smiled shyly. “How old are you sweetie?” Celine asked. “I’m 15”, Lily said and looked at Celine. Celine smiled and looked at Lily. “Are we met before?” Celine asked. Lily seemed very familiar to Celine, but she didn’t knew why. “No”, Lily said a little confused. Celine smiled and she took Lily to onstage with her.
Celine told to her what songs she will sing at night. She told also what she have to do before she go onstage and she showed her dresses and shoes.
When they came again to the stage, Celine asked does Lily sing with her. “I’d love yo sing with you!” Lily got excited and Celine gave a mic to her. “Which song you want to sing?” Celine asked and looked at Lily. Lily though a little bit. “Can we sing ‘Think twice’?” “Of course we can”, Celine smiled and band started to play.
Celine sang first and Lily joined with her. Celine listened her voice and she was amazed how good she actually was. Celine looked at Lily and she saw kinda herself in her. Celine saw how Lily smiled and how her eyes were precisely the same color that her eyes. Little by little Celine started to feel that Lily was just like her. “Who she really is?” Celine thought with herself and looked at Lily. “She look so much like me… And her voice…”, Celine thought. Suddenly Celine remembered how she have daughter, but she gave her away. Her heart was beating fast. “What if this little girl is my girl?” Celine thought and was almost about to cry.
Song ended and Celine was really sure Lily is her daughter. “Can I ask something?” Celine asked and took Lily’s hands to her hands. Lily nodded and looked at Celine. “Do you know, are you adopted?” Celine asked. “Yes I am”, Lily said and looked a little sad. Celine saw how Lily’s eyes got wet and she hugged her. “What is your birthday sweetie?” Celine asked and hoped she will say the right day. “6th July”, Lily said. Tears started to rolled by Celine’s cheeks and she hold Lily’s face in her hands. Lily looked at Celine confused. “Why you cry Celine?” Lily asked worried. Celine smiled and kissed Lily’s cheek. “I’m your real mom”, Celine whispered into Lily’s ear and Lily collapsed to the stage. Celine hold her near to her body and tried to comfort her.
Rene came onstage and was worried. “Why you two are crying?” Rene asked and looked them. “Do you remember when we were together, but we couldn’t told about it and I was pregnant and I gave the girl away?” Celine cried and looked at Rene. “Yes…”, Rene said. He guessed what Celine will say. “Lily is our daughter”, Celine hold Lily and Lily looked at Rene. Rene couldn’t say anything. He looked Celine and Lily and hold his breath. He squatted to them and look Lily’s eyes. “You have your mother’s eyes Lily”, Rene said and Lily hugged Rene.
Lily called to her mom and she came. They told about it to her and she told how she knew about this. They made an agreement that Lily can see Celine and Rene always when she wants and she can be with Celine as much as she wants, but she still will live with her mom and they won’t tell about this to anybody.
